Getting Into Medical Writing: Open and virtual session, September 23rd!
EMWA is pleased to offer a fully virtual Getting into Medical Writing open session. In this session, experienced medical writers and EMWA members will present and discuss the vast career path of medical writing and how EMWA can help you achieve your professional goals in this rewarding career path.
The 3-hour session will cover the basics, starting with an introduction to medical writing, networking opportunities, how to navigate EMWA and its offerings, and the upcoming autumn conference in Riga, November 22. Aspiring/new medical writers will have the chance to network with other medical writers, ask questions, and connect with colleagues.
This is a great opportunity for those who are not yet members of EMWA. So share with your network and spread the word!
What to expect
Experience medical writers, including members of the Executive Committee of EMWA and workshops leaders, will cover the following topics:
- Introduction and types of medical writing
- How to leverage LinkedIn to land your first job
- How to better take advantage of EMWA and its offerings
- Regional networking experiences
- Overview of the November virtual conference and workshops
Please be aware that this session will only take place live. No recording will be available after the event.
When: Friday, September 23rd, 2 - 5 pm CET
