Sergey Sulima

Sergey holds a PhD in molecular and cell biology from the University of Maryland, USA (2013) and completed postdoctoral research in oncology and hematology at the University of Leuven, Belgium. He has authored 16 publications in leading journals including Cancer Discovery, Leukemia, and Nature. From 2018 he held pharmaceutical industry roles first as a medical writer at BioNTech and then publications lead at Bristol Myers Squibb in Germany. Since 2024, he has been employed as Associate Director of Global Medical Communications at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in Munich, Germany, overseeing oncology medical communications for the DACH region. Sergey is an active member of ISMPP and holds their Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP™) certificate. He joined EMWA in 2018 and has served as an EMWA workshop leader since 2020 and an EPDC member since 2023.
