Conferences

EMWA hosts two conferences each year, bringing together medical writers from around the world for professional development, knowledge sharing, and networking.

Our Spring Conference is a face-to-face event held in May in Europe and our Autumn Conference is a virtual event held over two weeks in November.

Both conferences are built around the EMWA Professional Development Programme (EPDP) workshops, Expert Discussion Groups (EDGs), hot-topic themed sessions, and Special Interest Group (SIG) activities, and lots of networking opportunities. At the face-to-face Spring Conference, there are also plenty of fantastic social activities to engage, network and have fun with our welcoming and vibrant medical writing community.

Whether you are new to medical writing or an experienced professional, EMWA conferences provide opportunities to learn from industry experts, develop new skills, and connect with an international community of peers, while having fun and connecting with peers.
