What the conference has to offer
Bringing together medical writers and professionals from across the world, the conference offers an engaging programme of professional development, learning, and networking opportunities for all career stages, from those new to medical writing to experienced professionals.
All registrants must first be an EMWA member, so log in is essential. A one-off registration fee is added before you can confirm sessions. Fees are shown next to every product, colour-coded by type. Once booked you are emailed the Zoom link for each session, and the timetable will not let you book overlapping events.
Whether you’re joining us to develop your skills, discover new perspectives, exchange ideas, or connect with colleagues from across the medical writing community, we hope the EMWA Autumn Conference 2026 will be an inspiring and rewarding experience.

Workshops
EPDP workshops from the professional development catalogue, half or full day, taught live with pre- and post-workshop assignments.
Sessions
One- to one-and-a-half-hour talks and panels, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Medical Communications and Regulatory Writing.
Expert discussion groups
A focused, interactive session bringing together experts and participants to exchange views, share experience and explore a specific topic in greater depth.
Free sessions
Free sessions included with registration: opening, freelance, and Stay Healthy (offered twice). Still added to the basket so places can be counted.

Registration fee first
The conference registration fee (€50) must be in your basket before any session can be added. It is one off and covers the opening session and the plenary.
Terms and conditions
Changes to registration
Changes may be made to workshop or seminar choices after booking (that is, a cancellation of one workshop or seminar choice and replacement by another), for an administrative fee of €27, plus any difference in price between the choice of workshops or seminars. Workshops, seminars and lunchtime sponsored sessions may be added to your original registration (subject to availability) at any time, without an administrative fee by contacting info@emwa.org. All changes are subject to availability.
Cancellation of attendance
If you wish to cancel your attendance at the conference, a refund, minus an administration fee of €162, will be made provided your cancellation is made in writing to EMWA head office before 20 October 2026. No refunds will be made after this date.
Payments
Invoices must be settled by bank transfer in Euro, or paid by card through Stripe. All fees are payable in advance. Full payment is due by 30 October 2026. If payment has not been received, EMWA reserves the right to request payment and cancel registration.
