I was born and raised in the US and have lived in several European countries since 1999. I have a PhD in molecular biology, several years of post-doctoral research experience, and several years of industry experience. My journey into patient advocacy was driven by personal loss, while EMWA provided the means by which to gain a foothold in medical device writing. Working as a freelancer has provided autonomy and flexibility, while my EMWA network fosters the continuous growth of my knowledge and skills.
