Sarah is Vice President of Global Medical Writing at Veristat, where she provides strategic oversight of medical writing activities supporting global drug development programs.
A neuroscientist by training, Sarah began her career as a medical writer in 2006 and has over two decades of experience across consultancy, CRO, and medical communications settings. Her work has focused on regulatory and clinical documentation supporting development from early clinical phases through regulatory submissions and post-marketing activities.
Before joining Veristat in 2023, Sarah held senior leadership roles at Scinopsis, including Director of Medical Writing and Chief Operating Officer. Earlier in her career, she worked in medical communications agencies supporting global pharmaceutical clients.
Sarah serves as Membership Officer on EMWA’s Executive Committee and is co-chair of EMWA’s Getting into Medical Writing initiative. She is passionate about encouraging and supporting professionals entering the field.
She holds a PhD in Neuropharmacology from the University of London and is based in the South of France.
