Phil Leventhal

Phillip Leventhal, PhD is a Senior Manager, Medical Writing at the PPD clinical research business of Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he leads the Publications and Scientific Communications Team. Phil has over 20 years of experience in scientific and medical writing and earlier experience in pharmaceutical research and drug discovery. He has written nearly 200 published peer-reviewed publication and edited hundreds more. As Editor-in-Chief of Medical Writing and Executive Committee member from 2011 to 2020 (now Editor Emeritus) and a long-standing workshop leader for EMWA, he was awarded the Nick Thompson Fellowship in 2021 for exceptional service.
