Team Leader, Medical Writing at MED-EL Medical Electronics (Innsbruck, Austria)
Michael Todd has been working on manuscripts for MED-EL since 2011 and has been a team leader since 2021. Prior to working in medical writing, he taught English as a foreign language in Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. Unusually for a medical writer, he comes from the humanities rather than the sciences (B.A. in English Literature, McGill University, Montreal). Originally from Detroit, Michigan, he lived in 6 countries before settling in Austria in 2011. He has assisted in writing/editing over 100 peer-reviewed publications.
