Matías Rey-Carrizo holds a PhD in Chemistry and established himself as a freelance medical writer in 2018. He has been a member of EMWA since 2019 and is currently the vice-president of the Spanish Association of Medical Writers (AERTeM). He is a certified editor by the Board of Editors in Life Sciences since 2025.
