PTF43 Optimizing writing efficiency by taking advantage of Microsoft Word’s hidden options

In this hands-on workshop, writers will learn and apply lesser-known tips and tricks in Microsoft Word, with the aim of improving their writing efficiency and reducing the burden associated with conventional use of Word.
Attendees will learn how to organize their most-used commands for easy access, to apply keyboard shortcuts that are useful for their writing needs, to more efficiently create and revise tables, and to create standardized styles. Each topic will be introduced in a short lecture with class participation, followed by a hands-on exercise and group discussion.

Participant profile: Participation profile: This workshop is intended for medical writers with basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word who want to become more efficient at using Microsoft Word in their jobs. There are no prerequisites for this workshop.
