Description

Workshop participants will learn basic guidelines for creating appropriate graphical representations of data that retain the main message and enhance visual appeal. At the end of the course, participants should be able to:

• Understand the principles of data visualization
• Identify a main message for each graphical representation
• Select an appropriate graphical representation for each type of data and purpose
• Improve the clarity of charts or tables.

The workshop is aimed at medical writers with 0-4 years of experience.

No prior knowledge in visual communication is required.

If possible, participants should bring their laptops to the workshop.
