The workshop will introduce key psychological concepts and will outline the main research methods and procedures used to observe, describe, predict, and explain behaviours and mental processes.
The aim is to educate participants on conventions of writing in psychology. The content will cover the purpose and types of psychology documents, sources used in writing psychology, differences between qualitative and quantitative studies, the use of the American Psychological Association (APA) format, psychology terms, ethics, main tests and measurement used to perform research objectives in various fields. There will be particular emphasis on practical aspects throughout questions and exercises.
This workshop is aimed at medical writers with little or no experience of writing documents in psychological sciences and who would like to learn more about the study of human behaviours, attitudes, perceptions and emotions. As a foundation workshop, no prerequisites are required.
