Carolina qualified in medicine at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario in Argentina and holds a Master’s in Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University. She spent nine years in the United States working in clinical research. She now works as a senior freelance medical writer and regulatory consultant for pharmaceutical and medical device clients. Nutrition has run alongside her career throughout: she holds the Cornell certificate in plant-based nutrition and a BTS Diététique, has volunteered with the True Health Initiative, the Physicians Association for Nutrition, and Plant-Based Health Professionals UK, and has delivered nutrition seminars to EMWA, ELMO, Mediterranean Editors and Translators Meetings, and lay audiences across Europe. She is an active EMWA member, journal author, and webinar contributor.
