Johanna is a medical and scientific communication consultant, specializing in publications and medical communications education. Originally from Australia, she holds a double degree in Business (Marketing) and Arts (English). After relocating to Italy, she built a career spanning over 20 years in medical writing. Johanna is co-author of more than 80 publications and has led numerous training courses throughout her career.
She currently co-leads the EPDC Webinar Program, where she and Pauliina facilitate the exchange of knowledge, insights, and emerging trends across the diverse fields of medical writing for the wider EMWA community. In addition to her work with the webinar program, Johanna mentors workshop leaders and observes workshops, reflecting her ongoing commitment to supporting professional growth and excellence within the profession.
