EMWA needs you for your Executive Committee!
Dear EMWA Member,
We hope you are well. We would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the forthcoming elections for positions on the Executive Committee (EMWA Executive Committee Roles and Responsibilities). The positions are:
- President-Elect (Job Description – President Elect)
- Treasurer (Job Description – please email info@emwa.org)
- Public Relations Officer (Job Description – Public Relations Officer)
- Honorary Secretary (Job Description – Honorary Secretary)
If you would like to apply for any of the above roles, please provide a candidate statement of up to 400 words, indicating the position(s) you are interested in, and include a picture of yourself embedded into the Word document, to info@emwa.org by 27th January 2025.
To be eligible for the positions, candidates must be paid-up EMWA members and must have attended at least one spring conference in the previous three years.
In addition, for the role of President-Elect, the candidate must have either served on the EC previously or served EMWA in another official capacity in the last three years (e.g., workshop leader, or on a subcommittee).
Voting details will be sent out electronically in February 2025.
The successful candidates will be notified before the Annual General Meeting, which will take place at the EMWA Spring Conference in May 2025, after which the effective terms will begin.
