We would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the forthcoming elections for positions on the Executive Committee (Executive Committee Roles and Responsibilities). The positions are: President-Elect and Conference Director.
If you would like to apply for any of the roles (President-Elect and Conference Director), please provide a candidate statement of up to 400 words, indicating the position you are interested in, and include a picture of yourself embedded into the Word document, to info@emwa.org by 15th January 2024.
Voting details will be sent out electronically in February 2024.
To be eligible for the positions, candidates must be paid-up EMWA members, and must have attended at least one spring conference in the previous three years.
In addition, specifically for each role:
- President-Elect (Job description – President-Elect): Must have either served on the EC previously or served EMWA in another official capacity in the last three years (e.g. workshop leader, or on a subcommittee).
- Conference Director (Job description – Conference Director): no other requirements
The successful candidates will be notified before the Annual General Meeting, which will take place at the EMWA Spring Conference in May 2024.
