Exploring Generative AI for Medical Writing: What You Can Do Today with Copilot and Claude
Who it is for
Open to EMWA members registered for the EMWA Autumn Conference 2026.
What it covers
This introductory session will provide EMWA members with an practical overview of two widely used generative AI tools, Microsoft Copilot and Claude. Through live demonstrations focused exclusively on freely available functionalities, participants will learn how these tools can support common medical writing tasks, improve efficiency, and assist with information synthesis and content development, as well as project and tasks management tips and tricks. The session will highlight strengths, limitations, and responsible use considerations, followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion. The November presentation is intended as a foundation for a more in-depth exploration and interactive discussion at the May conference.
