Sergey holds a PhD in molecular and cell biology from the University of Maryland (2013) and completed postdoctoral research in oncology and hematology at the University of Leuven until 2018. He has co-authored 16 publications in top journals, including Cancer Discovery, Leukemia, and Nature. His industry experience includes roles at BioNTech, the Helmholtz Center, and Bristol Myers Squibb, where he led publications for Germany across multiple therapeutic areas. Since September 2024, he has been Associate Director of Global Medical Communications at Regeneron, overseeing oncology medical affairs communications for the DACH region. Sergey is a Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP™), an active member of ISMPP, and joined EMWA in 2018. He has served as an EMWA workshop leader since 2020 and joined the EPDC in 2023.
