Kari − Canadian/Norwegian, MSc biochemistry − is an experienced freelance medical writer employed in her own company Limwric ltd. She works mainly with medical communication and training, particularly on manuscript writing. She has worked ~15 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with managing clinical trials from the planning to the publication stage and writing of all associated regulatory documents and publications. Kari gives EMWA workshops on manuscript writing, grant-writing and cross-cultural communication, and has served on the EPDC since 2013. Her role is typical EPDC work, mentoring new workshop leaders, quality assuring new and ongoing workshops and strategic EMWA work.
