Writing with the paediatric population in mind – EDG

This workshop is aimed at medical writers who work in paediatric healthcare. We will discuss the recent updates to the E11a and share experiences on paediatric protocol design to optimise engagement and retention while being mindful of the specific ethics and vulnerabilities we encounter. Have we yet embraced AI as a tool to optimise our patient‑focused materials in clinical trials and the context of the general medicine environment?

We would like this EDG to be an opportunity to share our experiences working for the paediatric population, including what has worked and what has not.

Participant profile: Expert Discussion Groups (EDGs) are group discussions led by a moderator/moderators, and the moderators will pose 2-3 questions ahead of the discussion on one topic to lead the discussion or to bring the discussion back to topic. There will be a max of 10 attendees, and we ask the moderators to set experience levels to keep the discussion standards and the level high. These sessions will be 1.5 to 2 hours.
