It is with great sadness that we share the news that our dear EMWA colleague, Alistair Reeves, passed away after a long illness on January 30, 2026, in Wiesbaden, Germany. Alistair played a seminal role in EMWA’s early days, and was an accomplished medical writer, translator, editor, and worldwide trainer of medical writers. He was a dear friend, colleague, and mentor to many EMWA members. Here are some tributes from his family and friends.
