Ana Sofia Correia is a medical translator and writer based in Portugal. She works with life sciences companies, contract research organizations, language service providers, and medical communication agencies providing translation, editing, and writing services for clinical trials, medical devices, product information materials, education and marketing campaigns, and scientific publications. She became a full-time freelancer in 2019, after 12 years as an in-house translator at the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra and the Nursing School of Coimbra. In addition to her translation and writing services, Ana Sofia Correia runs the Medical Translation Mentoring program, a community-based mentoring program specifically designed for medical and life sciences translators.
