The latest issue of Medical Writing is now available

Dear EMWA members,

The latest issue of Medical Writing should now be in your mailboxes and it is available on our website at journal.emwa.org.

This issue, which focuses on patient-reported outcomes (PROs), has been put together by Diarmuid De Faoite who once again did a great job in bringing together medical writers highly experienced in PROs. This issue covers many relevant aspects from quality of life measures to publication planning and electronic PROs. Also, included in this issue you’ll find a discussion around Brexit impact, awareness of medical writing as a profession in India, patient rights in clinical trials, and much more.

Here are the upcoming issues of Medical Writing:

March 2019: Careers in medical writing. Guest editors: Raquel Billiones and Brian Bass. This issue is now closed to new submissions.
June 2019: Generics and biosimilars. Guest editor: Diana Radovan (diana.radovan@trilogywriting.com). Deadline for feature articles is 10th March, 2019.
September 2019: Trends in medical writing. Guest editor: Somsuvru Basu (somsuvro.basu@ceitec.cz). Deadline for feature articles is 10th June, 2019.
December 2019: Artificial intelligence and digital health. Guest editor: Evguenia Alechine (ealechine@epsilonsci.com). Deadline for feature articles is 9th September, 2019.

We continue to have plenty of high-quality articles, but we are always happy to get more. If you are interested in contributing, please contact us at editor@emwa.org.

Best wishes for this New Year from our Editorial team and happy reading!
